Setup — Azure key needed

Paste KEY 1 and the region (e.g. eastus) from Azure → Keys and Endpoint. Stored only on this phone.

1 · Microphone & playback pending

Tap record, say anything for a few seconds, tap stop, then listen. In the car this proves the AirPod mic is what iOS hands to the app.

2 · Keep screen awake pending

Requests a screen wake lock so the phone never auto-dims mid-session while mounted.

3 · Tutor voice (YunJhe, zh-TW) pending

The male Taiwanese-Mandarin voice reads three patient lines. This is audition round 1 — judge whether you could listen to him for 30 minutes a day.

4 · Understanding you (STT) pending

Tap, then say any Mandarin sentence (or repeat one the voice just said). Azure transcribes it.
